Divine Perfection

Sometimes it's hard to see the divine perfection in our lives on a day to day basis.  We get caught up in the moment and life can seem to hard and unfair.

I have a friend that recently went through an ordeal with his house.  In 2007 his farm burned down.  He built it from the ground up. He had planted every tree, built every building, and cared for every animal. He lost his 10 acres of farm land, 1000 fruit trees, several buildings, barns and approximately 100 animals.  He sat down and cried when he went out to see his beloved farm after the fires.  Now, had I mentioned that somehow this was divinely perfect for him in that moment he probably would have bit my head off.  But, somehow I knew this was divine intervention and so did he.

Then in 2009 his business all but evaporated when the economy tanked and he got behind on his mortgage payments.  The bank let him know that he could get a loan modification which he pursed multiple times over the next 3 years to no avail.  His family packed up most of the house because they were worried that the bank would kick them out at any moment.  They lived in uncertainty for many years.  This became a huge stress for him personally and for family.

But life has a funny way of working out.  In 2011 a local energy company was found guilty for the fires that burned down his property.  A lawyer contacted him and let him know that someone else was responsible for his property being lost and even though he had no insurance, they were responsible.

He followed the long process of paperwork, and meeting with attorneys to determine what they would have to pay him for his loss.  Now, you have to realize that this man was not the "sue" type.  He didn't expect a payout from anyone, but was willing to go through the process to see where it would lead.

In 2013 he received his money for his loss.  At the same time the bank was closer and closer to evicting him and his family out into the street.  As luck would have it, he received his payment just in time to buy his house from the bank and begin to rebuild his farm.

Can you see the divine interaction in his life?  How amazing is it that just 5 years ago he thought he lost everything?  And now, he seems to have it all.  A home that is paid for and his farm being rebuilt back to it's original beauty.

Sometimes in life it's hard to see the perfection.  I know in my own life I have had some hard things to deal with.  But each and every one I can look back and see how perfect it was for me.  I now see the divine interaction and purpose. I can honestly say that I am grateful for all the heartache and challenges that have shaped the person I am today. Although, I admit, I might not see it when it's happening.

Can you look at your own life and see how perfect your past has been into making who you are now?  Wouldn't it be great to be able to embrace the hard times that life has to offer you when they are happening?

Let's face, it we all go through stuff.  No one gets off easy, everyone has challenges.  But there is one thing that I know to be true for me: there is only divine timing, divine guidance and divine interaction in my life.
