Circulating your Energy
I was first introduced to the idea of circulating your energy very early on in my practice. It was my understanding that this was a way of healing myself, a way to to awaken my spiritual being and a way for me to connect on a deeper level with my partner. I had read a book as to how to do it and I had been practicing it for several months when I met my teacher. I thought I was doing it, I had no real way of knowing if I was successful at it or not. He was quick to point out where I skipped over and where I was blocked. I did notice the area that I jumped over but I had no way of correcting it. You will want to sit in an upright posture breathing slowly, and begin to count your breath. I like to breath the 3-5 breath. Three on the inhale and 5 (or more) on the exhale.
