I am very interested in different modalities of healing. Anything that you can do to transform yourself in a positive direction is worth exploring, in my opinion. I have a friend that took an unusual path for her healing. She had exhausted western medicine to no avail. She was desperate and willing to try anything to help her be at peace with her childhood. She was a victim of sexual abuse and it haunted her. Unable to be in intimate relationships with a man or a woman, she longed to be free from the feeling of shame and quilt.
