Sexual Bliss

Let's face it;  women talk.  We have no shame around discussing whether or not our partner satisfies us or how big his package is.  What I seem to come across more often than not is that women are not satisfied sexually.  In fact, I have never met a women that did not fake an orgasm at one point or another.  I must admit I am guilty of this in my younger years.  I was completely unaware of how to receive pleasure from a man and most of the time I just wanted them to hurry up and get it over with.  Wow.... did I just say that???  


My upbringing did not prepare me for a deep fulfilling relationship with a mate.  I was raised to believe that only "sinners" had sex outside of marriage and I didn't want to get married anytime soon.  Yet I could not ignore my bodies cravings for touch from the opposite sex.  Why was there such negative programing from our culture around sexuality?  What was the big deal about sex anyways?  These questions lead me to become the woman I am today.  I am grateful for the confusion that was thrown on my path around sexuality, I would not be here without it.


It took me years to unlock the secrets of my own body.  I had a willingness to be with a man and discover the secrets of his body.  I never assumed that each man was the same.  I asked questions, read books and left my ego at the door frequently.  We are perfect and complicated beings.  Our bodies hold the secrets to our hearts and to our connection to the divine.  God gave us these parts on our bodies, if we hold them as sacred why wouldn't they lead us to the high heavens?


I have an incredible relationship.  It challenges me in ways I never thought possible.  He makes me scream with joy and cry out in tears. Sometimes I want to strangle him out of frustration with myself.  But I receive more love, more fulfillment, joy and bliss that no one person should keep for themselves.  We  work at our relationship...it is not easy.  We both take personal responsibility for ourselves in our relationship (that means no finger pointing.)  Anyone who has been together for more that a few years knows how hard it is to keep the excitement going between the two of you.  If you choose to have kids it makes it even more challenging to keep the fire alive.  But it is possible.  Don't let the TV distract you from what is important.  You will shed blood sweat and tears, but along the way, the love that you will feel for your partner will be intoxicating, mind blowing,and ecstatic;  something that you cannot control and why would you want to?
